On a caret solitaire ring Round 1, it is better to have 6-pin or 4 pin? I think, 4-pin looks much better, I think they show the diamonds of better quality. But it is easier to lose a diamond in the 4-pin.
My engagement ring is a diamond of 1 carat cushion cut with a cathedral setting 4 three-way PCB. I agree, pin 4 shows diamonds better (more light into the diamond so that it seems the best!). When my husband went shopping ring, not a lot of research and found no reason why was a 4-pin set tend to lose the stone. Make sure your ring by a Jeweler known reviewed one or two years after – if your school is a little loose, know best about it, whereas the diamond still in the ring! In addition, make sure your engagement ring is from your landlord or tenant insurance in case something does not cover the ring or diamond.
