I have this necklace piece made of gold and silver and it has diamonds on it. I have had it for a while, so it's slightly duller than usual and I want it to shine a little brighter. How do I clean and polish this easily?
I would get a jewellery polishing cloth - these are available from most supermarkets and jewellery stores. The polishing cloths have a polishing compound impregnated in the fabric and if you give the metal a good rub all over it should shine up nicely (but it won't remove scratches).
